Benefits of Good Air Quality at Home

So few of us give any thought to the air quality in our homes until there is something obviously wrong. We tend to assume that the air quality is good, or certainly not something that we need to worry about, as long as it doesn’t feel humid or dry, and there are no signs of damp or mold anywhere. But, if you’ve had your windows closed over the winter, you’ve been drying washing indoors, your home is quite humid, or you’ve got a lot of clutter, the air quality might be worse than you might think.

This poor air quality can affect your health and wellbeing as well as your enjoyment of your home, and there are many benefits to taking the time to improve the quality of the air in your home. Here’s a look at some of them.

Easy, Clean Breathing

The cleaner and fresher the air in your house, the cleaner the air that you spend most of your time breathing. Most of the time, we don’t think about breathing when we’re relaxed and in a restful state like we are when we’re at home.
