Eid Al Adha 2019 Holiday in Philippines Declared

The Philippine Government has declared August 12, 2019, Monday a holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha 2019 or the Feast of Sacrifice, according to Senator Bong Go, quoting Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

Eid Al Adha is one of two of the greatest most important holidays on the Muslim calendar, the other being Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
