Conor McGregor Tweets About Khabib’s Wife — Receives Backlash

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor was slammed for a tweet at his nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov’s wife.

McGregor tweeted about the Islamic garb worn by Khabib’s wife during a wedding ceremony; he wrote “Your wife is a towel mate.”

The tweet was later removed after a backlash, the social media labeling the tweet as ‘racist’ and ‘Islamophobic’.
