Kid Pianist from India, Lydian Nadhaswaram, Wins The World’s Best

After weeks of competition, the first ever winner of CBS The World’s Best talent competition was named on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. India’s child pianist Lydian Nadhaswaram was named the first champion of the competition.

This was his first performance, a medley of popular film themes, including “Harry Potter,” “Mission Impossible,” “Superman” and “Jurassic Park.”

India’s Lydian Nadhaswaram added a new wrinkle to his semifinal performance against Naturally 7, first playing a flawless “Moonlight Sonata” and then heading over to a drum kit to perform a stunning complimentary drum track to a reply of his piano track.

And this was his last performance of the night — a medley of Beethoven’s “Fur Elise” and Chopin’s “Etude” on two pianos simultaneously.
