Happy 100th Independence Day Poland
Poland celebrates its 100th Independence Day on Sunday with a procession led by President Andrzej Duda, and that the police said attracted 250,000 people.
The National Independence Day commemorated the restoration of the country’s sovereignty from the Russian, German and Austro-Hungarian empires in 1918.
Sunday’s celebration was said to have been peaceful.
