Typhoon Paeng Projected Path and Tracking 2018: Heading to Northern Philippines (Update)

After Ompong, here comes Paeng. Typhoon Paeng maintains its direction as it moves towards northern Philippines. Here is the latest announcement issued by PAGASA.

Typhoon #PaengPH has slightly weakened as it continues to move slowly.

#PaengPH may bring light to at times moderate rains over Northern Luzon on Friday (28 Sep).
Sea travel remains risky over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Visayas.
It is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday (29 Sep).

Location of eye/center: At 10:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon “PAENG” was located based on all available data at 725 km East of Basco, Batanes (20.1 °N, 128.9 °E)
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 190 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 235 km/h
Forecast Movement: Moving North Northeast at Slowly km/h

– PAENG may bring light to moderate rains over Northern Luzon on Friday (28 Sep).
– Possible hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals over extreme Northern Luzon by Thursday (27 Sep) or Friday (28 Sep).
– Sea travel is risky over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Visayas.
