#NationalDayOfPrayer Observance for Several Religions in US

It is May 5th, Thursday. Falling on the first Thursday in May, the National Day of Prayer, #NationalDayOfPrayer, was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman in 1952 and encourages people to turn to God in prayer and meditation.

Let’s join in faith for our family, civil servants, pastors, churches, and all our leaders.

Pres. Barack Obama issued a proclamation declaring May 5, 2016, as National Day of Prayer, “I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim May 5, 2016, as National Day of Prayer. I invite the citizens of our Nation to give thanks, in accordance with their own faiths and consciences, for our many freedoms and blessings, and I join all people of faith in asking for God’s continued guidance, mercy, and protection as we seek a more just world.”

Watch the live streaming! Join Rep. Robert Aderholt, Dr. Tony Evans, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Mrs. Shirley Dobson, Rep. Louie Gohmert, Senate Chaplain Barry Black, Dr. James Dobson, Anne Graham Lotz, Veritas, Dr. Dick Eastman, Dr. David Butts, Rev.
