Woman Finds $36,000 Cash Inside Bag At Miami Beach Golf Course

Bless her soul! Florida woman, Rachel Castillo, found a $36,000 cash inside a bag that was left on a bench at the Miami Beach Golf Course on Jan. 20. Instead of keeping the money to herself, she decided the right thing by calling the police and returning the money to the rightful owner.

Castillo, who serves drinks to golfers, found that the money belonged to a 76-year-old man.

“Easy money is not good money, you know?” Castillo said of why she turned the money in. “I was really freaking out a little bit.”

“I believe in the Bible,” she said. “I’m a Christian, and the Bible says, ‘Do not steal, do not lie,’ you know, all these things, and if you do what’s right, if you live the right way, you’ll be taken care of. I believe I’ll be taken care of … if you do what’s right.”
