Ford Ad Controversy Leads To Apology
The controversy all started with the Ford ad that was leaked last week as shown below. The poster featured the Kardashian sisters, Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney, tied up at the back of a car with Paris Hilton smiling in the driver’s seat.
The print ads, produced by JWT India, were published in India.
The giant automaker already issued an apology saying, “We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners. Together with our partners, we are reviewing approval and oversight processes to help ensure nothing like this ever happens again.”
Ford has fired several workers, according to several reports.
The ad has sparked an outrage in India, especially with the recent violent incidents against women.
