Fallon Tonight Show Deal Is Sealed (VIDEO)

NBC has committed to turning over “The Tonight Show,” now hosted by Jay Leno, to “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon. The timing of the changeover hasn’t been set. The Hollywood Reporter said that Fallon has closed a new deal with NBC that will pave the way for him to replace Leno in the 11:35 p.m. slot.

Leno, 62, has a contract with NBC until September 2014.

And who will replace Fallon on The Late Night? The strong frontrunner for the 12:35 a.m. job is said to be Saturday Night Live stalwart Seth Meyers!
