Filipino-American Student Kevin Signo Died After Backflip Attempt

The 18-year-old Baylor University freshman, Kevin Signo, died Sunday after attempting to do a backflip, the school said in a statement. He was practicing a traditional dance with the Filipino Student Association when he attempted the stunt and landed on his head, according to the KCEN-TV report.

Signo was a pre-biology major from Frisco. He lived in Martin Hall and was involved in the Filipino Student Association.

The funeral will be held on March 9 at 10 a.m. at the same funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. on March 8 at Turrentine, Jackson & Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 North Central Expressway in Allen, Texas.
