New Year 2012 TV Show Marathons (Schedules)

TVLine posted a list of TV shows having series marathons this 2012 New Year weekend, starting on Dec. 30th to January 2nd.

FRIDAY, DEC. 30
Jersey Shore (MTV, 12 am – Saturday, 11 pm) | Spray on your fake tan, pick up your prescription for penicillin, and make your New Year a bona fide — cough — Situation. (Also airs Sunday, 1:05 am – 8 pm.)

CSI (USA Network, 9 am – Saturday, 5 am) | Say goodbye to Laurence Fishburne all over again with this Season 11 marathon.

It Only Hurts When I Laugh (truTV, 11 am – 5 pm) | Had a few holiday mishaps? Make yourself feel better by making sure they didn’t show up in this home videos showcase.

Awkward (Logo, noon – 6 pm) | Do we really need to have “the talk” again? This MTV teen comedy is your favorite new show. You may not know it yet, but trust us — it is.

Criminal Minds (A&E, noon – 4:02 am) | Pre-party, put your brain on autopilot by letting these geniuses do all the heavy lifting.

The Millionaire Matchmaker (Bravo, noon – 9 pm) | Epiphany: It’s a modern-day Downton Abbey!

Will & Grace (Lifetime, noon – 4 pm) | Before the first cork is popped, get a contact high off of Karen.

Brides of Beverly Hills (TLC, 1 – 5 pm) | At the center of the series is a bridal boutique that counts Paula Abdul, Heather Locklear and Raquel Welch among its clients. In other words, pretty dresses? Guaranteed. Long-lasting marriages? Not so much.

Nite Tales (Chiller, 8 pm – Saturday, 3:30 am) | In case you don’t want to sleep at all.

SATURDAY, DEC. 31
100 Most Shocking Music Moments (VH1, 3 – 9 am) | Got predictions? We’ve got our fingers crossed for Ashlee Simpson’s Milli Vanilli moment — complete with interpretive dance — on SNL.

Fear Factor (Chiller, 6 am – Sunday 6 am) | Watch contestants from the American, English, Australian and South American editions try to keep from blowing chunks.

Monk (Cloo, 6 am – Sunday, 6 am) | Cancellation be damned! Have hand wipes, will crime-solve.

Oddities (Science Channel, 6 am – Sunday, 3 am) | A new “Best Of” episode airs in the middle of this marathon (at 9 pm). Which is, in a way, odd.

Top Gear (BBC America, 6 am – Sunday, 7:20 am) | Are you feeling the need for speed? That’s not a rhetorical question. (Also airs Monday, 8 am – Tuesday, 5 am.)

NCIS (USA Network, 10 am – 11 pm) | It wouldn’t be the USA Network on a holiday weekend without an NCIS marathon. Well, it could be. But it wouldn’t be the same.

America’s Next Top Model (Style Network, 11 am – 11 pm) | It’s Cycle 15 — when Tyra Banks got serious with the show’s judges and prizes, if not its girls.

Notarized 2011 (BET, 11 am – 7 pm) | Practice counting down to midnight by counting down the biggest music videos of the year. (Also airs 7 – 11 pm; check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)

The Real Housewives of… (Bravo, 1 pm – Sunday, 2 am) | After this many hours with the ladies of Atlanta, D.C., New York, New Jersey and Orange County, you’ll be feeling very classy, even if you’ve misplaced your undies. (The Real Housewives of Atlanta also airs Sunday, 10 am – 10 pm.)

100 Greatest Songs of the ’00s (VH1, 2 – 7 pm) | If your taste in music is a little on the edgy side, you might enjoy this countdown mainly for the opportunity to mock.

Twilight Zone (Syfy, 2 pm – midnight) | Not just 40 episodes of the classic series, but 40 episodes of the classic series that were selected by viewers. The Top 20 air Sunday, 2 pm – midnight.

Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys (Sundance, 3 – 7 pm) | Best. Title. Ever. And potentially Worst. Case. Scenario. (Also airs Sunday, 10 am – 2 pm.)

The Oprah Winfrey Show (OWN, 3 – 9 pm) | Tears, tears and more tears – the final three episodes of the daytime talk show are featured in this Big O marathon.

Moonshiners (Discovery, 6 pm – Sunday, 3 am) | A booze-centric New Year’s Eve marathon? Yes, that seems quite appropriate.

The Three Stooges (IFC, 6 pm – Sunday, 6 am) | Get smart about the originals before they’re reinvented by the upcoming movie.

2012: Countdown to Armageddon (National Geographic Channel, 7 – 8 pm) | OK, this is one countdown we could definitely do without! (Also airs Sunday, 2 -3 am – if we survive.)

The Five: New Year’s Special (Fox News, 9 – 10 pm) | The roundtable weighs in. But not Biggest Loser style. Although, come to think of it, that would be fun.

From Los Angeles, we’ll get Robin Thicke, The Band Perry, blink-182, Christina Perri, Florence + The Machine, Gym Class Heroes, LMFAO, OneRepublic, Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz and will.i.am. (Check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)

New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly (NBC, 10 – 11 pm, 11:30 pm – Sunday, 12:30 am) | Drake, The Roots, Tony Bennett, Jessie J, The Voice‘s Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green, Smash star Megan Hilty, Jimmy Fallon and Rick Gervais all help the former MTV VJ with his countdown. (Check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)

Stick Clark: Party Like It’s the 90s (TeenNick, 10 pm – Sunday, 6 am ) | It’s a child of the ’90s dream come true: a nice, long stretch of The Secret Life of Alex Mack, All That, Ren & Stimpy, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Kenan & Kel, Doug and Clarissa Explains It All. (Check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)

OK, pretty sure Lovato doesn’t introduce herself. But you get the idea. (Check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)

New Year. No Limits. (ESPN, 11 pm – midnight) | Need a shot of adrenaline? Snowmobile freestyler Levi LaVallee and FMX rider Robbie Maddison’s attempt to sail over the San Diego harbor should provide it, and then some.

New Year’s Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin (CNN, 11 pm – Sunday, 12:30 am) | There are certainly duller twosomes with whom you could raise a glass. Live coverage follows until 1 am. (Check in on Get Glue for an exclusive sticker.)
