Actor Jackie Cooper Dies

Jackie Cooper died on May 3, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California at age 88. He played as The Daily Planet editor in Christopher Reeves’ four “Superman” movies.

He was the youngest performer to have been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, at the age of 9, an honor that he received for the film Skippy (1931).
