I saw the Elliptigo Exercise bicycle on “The Doctors” TV show today. It is a device that could emulate running outdoors without the associated impact on the knees and joints.

The ElliptiGO 8S combines the best aspects of running, cycling and the elliptical trainer into a comfortable, low-impact and high-performance fitness device.
