CBS officially confirmed The Amazing Race 18, also known as The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business. The new edition of Amazing Race will feature several returning teams of two from previous seasons of The Amazing Race and will kick off its season run starting on February 20, 2011.
The 18th cycle of The Amazing Race has been subtitled “Unfinished Business”, as revealed during the finale of The Amazing Race 17, and will feature a number of returning teams from previous seasons for a second chance to win the million dollar prize. Teams from The Amazing Race 18 have been spotted at Oceanworld in Manly near Sydney, Australia around November 22, 2010; Kynt and Vyxsin, the “Dating Goths” team from The Amazing Race 12, were identified by locals as they raced. Teams were seen racing a day later around the mining town of Broken Hill, New South Wales in the Australian Outback. Other teams that are believed to be returning, according to Entertainment Weekly, include “Father / Son” team Mel & Mike, “Mother / Son” team Margie & Luke, and “Dating” team Amanda & Kris, all from The Amazing Race 14.
