News 10 Sacramento: Roseville Galleria Fire

News 10 Sacramento has the minute-by-minute reports of the Roseville Galleria fire. According to the latest news, Sacramento firefighters have already identified Alexander Piggee as the suspect behind the standoff and fire at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville Thursday.

The fire has knocked down a roof and the dark plume of smoke could been seen for miles.

Officers called for a bomb squad after Piggee left a backpack, with some type of device, inside a storeroom.

During the investigation of the backpack, another fire started burning, forcing the bomb squad and firefighters to retreat from the scene. Fire crews continued the fire fight outside of the mall.

Sacramento Metro Fire Captain Christian Pebbles says his investigators confirm they were looking for Piggee in connection with an arson at a Walmart store in Antelope Thursday morning.
