Darryl Stingley Hit Video – Jack Tatum Dies at 61

The after-effects of Darryl Stingley’s injury when he was only 26 took his life at age 55. He died three years ago. More than half his life was in a wheelchair after he clashed head-on with the Raiders’ Jack Tatum during an exhibition at the Oakland Coliseum on Aug. 12, 1978. The wounds between Stingley and Tatum never healed after that.

Today, Jack Tatum died at 61. Tatum spent his last years with parts of both legs taken by diabetes. The “Darryl Stingley Hit Video” is buzzing once again. Have you seen it?
