This summer, Shanghai meets The Big Apple. This historic event marks the first occasion that another orchestra has shared the stage with the New York Philharmonic on the Great Lawn. With all eyes looking to Shanghai as it hosts World Expo 2010, the New York Philharmonic joins the global community in celebrating Shanghai, the cultural and economic capital of China.
