It doesn’t happen that often through the course of the year but much of Lower Michigan and the Great Lakes has been included in a moderate risk for the potential of severe weather today. The greatest threat will likely occur this evening with the arrival of a cold front. High wind will be the primary threat, but an isolated tornado is also possible along with large hail. Outside of the storm threat it will be breezy and humid this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

The storms will move out later tonight with lows in the mid 60s.

High pressure will sweep in with lower humidity levels and a fair amount of sunshine for Thursday and Friday. Will it hold for the weekend? We’ll let you know coming up at noon along with the latest Storm Track Live images.
