Touchdown Jesus or Big Butter Jesus at Solid Rock Church Caught Fire
Big Butter Jesus aka Touchdown Jesus — the famous giant statue of Jesus Christ at Solid Rock Church in Ohio — caught fire and was burned to pieces after a lighting hit it on a stormy Monday night. The six-story-tall statue was built in 2004 and was made of plastic foam and fiberglass over a steel frame. The frame is all that remains now.

Whenever I saw the statue I could’nt help but wonder how many hungry people could have been fed with the money that must have cost
