King of Kings Statue to be Rebuilt

It did not take many days for the Pastor of the Solid Rock Church to decide whether or not to rebuild the King of Kings Statue after it was consumed last night by fire caused by lighting (story and video here). The Pastor said that the new statue will be bigger and better. He will also look at constructing it from something that is less flammable than fiberglass or styrofoam.

The statue has been nicknamed “Big Butter Jesus” after a novelty song by Heywood Banks (because of its yellowy color) and “Touchdown Jesus” because of its raised arms.
