Whitney Houston Career is Dead
I have the feeling Whitney Houston will never have a comeback. In her concert last night in Britain, Whitney Houston could not even be in tune. Not hitting the high note maybe acceptable. But not hitting even the low notes was a waste of money for those wanting to see her.
Don’t get me wrong. I have been a Whitney fan for so long. But she seems to be not helping herself to get back on track. Now, I don’t even want to watch her concerts.
Whitney Houston’s comeback concert was a disaster. Watch the video.

whoever wrote this insensible article is a desperate writer. you are not a voice coach to make such a bereft judgement about whitney’s voice. no wonder ur in a tabloid.
As a professional vocal coach, I would have suggested she wait 3-4 years before trying to start large concert performances , doing studio recordings and smaller televised performances ( can we say lip syncing ???) until she got back into shape. Additionally, after a long bout with drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes, the changes that take place in a 46 year old womans’ voice ,Whitney needed time to heal the damage from the abuse her body just survived. Her “soprano friend” , in her twenties, left long ago, and she has awakened to find “her” replaced with a smoky voiced low alto…deal with it! There are so many factor in this scenario. I thought long ago, that she really needed to put careful thought and care in executing ANY COMEBACK AT ALL. To quote I thought “…this better be good!” I believe some time with a really skilled vocal coach, without the pressures of touring and live performances, abstaining from the substance abuse, as well as some very objective, honest spiritual counsel, Whitney can continue to perform into her golden years with dignity. Accepting the passing of her “soprano friend” is going to be key to this for her. Going on with this, as it has been going is causing more harm to , not only her image, but it is going to destroy her soul if she doesnt completely get honest with HERSELF about all of this. We all really do believe in her, but WHITNEY has to say “IM SICK AND I CANT DO WHAT I USED TO. I NEED SOME TIME TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH MYSELF AND MY CRAFT” Doing this in front of the world is exposing her “…warts and all” , as she will find, people do not pay to see warts, they pay to hear something that will inspire them, entertain them, make them think. Whitney doesnt need to go away ashamed or in any undignified manner, she needs to look at herself honestly and follow what she KNOWS is right. When she returns, hopefully it wont be a comeback, but a return to the pure honesty that the world grew to know and appreciate about Whitney Houston. She is a woman who cannot sing anything that doesnt connect with her soul. Get the point? Go back and get WHITNEY, and come back to us!
I went to her concert and I was so angry, but I’ll always love Whitney no matter what…..
