If you are looking for the longest subway system in the world, then Seoul takes the crown. In 2013 the total route length was extended to 940km! The second-longest might not be a surprise based on what the media says, but the Shanghai Metro system is 468km and has 303 stations. 

The London Underground, which is colloquially referred to as the Tube, has a total route length of 402km and is the fourth-longest subway system. It has a total of 270 stations and is operated by Transport for London. 

Commute

There are some cities where a long commute is a part and parcel of living there. If a long commute makes you cranky, then you should avoid Villavicencio. This Colombian city has the longest commute – according to Google and Waze. It has been reported that this commute is an average of 192.1 minutes! The second on that list is Myrtle Beach, SC, USA, with an average commute of 96.9 minutes. If you are looking for a short commute, then Amsterdam, Netherlands, comes in at a comfortable 37.5 minutes. 

Uber Commute

An Uber Commute is where Uber allows riders to share the rides as they head to their destination. Some companies can set up an uberPOOL or similar and have their commuter program on a tab. 

It is the most expensed item next to Starbucks and has 41.8 million US users, 17 million Brazilian users, and 3.5 million people in London.
