Netflix released a 9-episode supernatural horror drama series The Haunting of Bly Manor on October 9, 2020, and, surely after, became one of the most-watched shows that week. The series follows the story of a young governess Danielle “Dani” Clayton (played by Victoria Pedretti) hired by a man Henry Wingrave (played by Henry Thomas) to look after his niece Flora Wingrave (Amelie Bea Smith) and nephew Miles Wingrave (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) at the family country house after they fall into his care. Arriving at the Bly estate, she begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises.
