Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Opens Sining at Kagitingan Art Exhibit
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will be celebrating its 84th Anniversary on 21 December 2019. In line with this, a series of activities was prepared to highlight the different achievements of the AFP as well as increase the awareness and appreciation of the public on the sacrifices and heroism of our soldiers.
One of the activities is the conduct of “Sining at Kagitingan: Isang Pagpupugay sa Ika-84 na Anibersaryo ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas” from 17 to 20 December 2019. The four-day exhibit will feature paintings by volunteer visual artists that depict the different aspects of soldiery in the fulfillment of the AFP’s mandate to the country.
In this regard, we are inviting you to join us in the said event which will run at the Dimalupig Hall “A” Lobby, AFP Commissioned Officers Club, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The paintings that will be exhibited are for sale and, should you be interested, cost around P20,000.00. The artists have also expressed their availability for commissioned art works. Fifty percent of the proceeds will help orphans of our soldiers through the AFP Educational Benefit Systems Office.
