Episode 1
The first episode started with 24 chefs divided into 12 teams. The 12 teams were asked to cook Mexican tacos.

Episode 2
The 11 teams remaining were asked to cook the famous Spanish paella.

The bottom 3 teams were asked to prepare a dish with octopus as the main ingredient. Spanish Chef Andoni Aduriz decided which team had the best dish and the team that had to go home. And the results were:

The 4 chefs left — Timothy Hollingsworth, Darren MacLean, Shane Osborn, and Mark Best — had to compete individually for the finale. They were judged by all the 9 judges from each episode.

The four chefs were asked to create a dish that define them. They were told to use any ingredient.
