USA Women’s Gymnastics Team Won Gold at Rio Olympics 2016 (VIDEO)
Congrats to Team USA! The women’s gymnastics team won the gold medal with a scored of 184.897. It was more than enough to beat second-place Russia by 8.209 points. China claimed bronze.
The U.S. team started on vault, where it built an early lead that no country would come close to. Aly Raisman and Simone Biles each nailed an Amanar, which is one of the toughest vaults being done today.
On uneven bars, the Americans were spectacular. Gabby Douglas matched her best score of the year with a 15.766, and Madison Kocian had the best score of her career with a 15.933.
