It is confirmed! Indiana Governor Mike Pence was the name announced by GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump as his Vice Presidential running mate.
“I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my Vice Presidential running mate,” Donald Trump said on Twitter and Facebook Friday, adding that there would be a news conference Saturday.
Trump’s opponent, Democratic Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, posted her comments:
“It’s official: Donald J. Trump just chose Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate—the most extreme vice presidential pick in a generation. Here’s what you need to know about him.”
