Simon Cowell surprised host Ryan Seacrest and his fellow original judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul as he appeared on stage on American Idol 2016 season 15 finale episode (April 7, 2016).

Everyone was very emotional as they thanked all the viewers and people behind the success of American Idol.
