The first Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, could not make it to the finale as she is soon to give birth. However, she did a taped performance on American Idol 2016 season 15 finale episode (April 7, 2016), singing her biggest hit songs! Among the songs included were “Miss Independent,” “Breakaway,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Because Of You,” “Behind These Hazel eyes,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” “Stronger,” “Heartbeat Song,” and “Invincible.”
She ended the medley with an a capella of “A Moment Like This.” This is so emotional.
