Still wishing to go out during Christmas day? Below is a list of what is open and closed on Thursday’s Christmas Eve, and Friday’s Christmas Day 2015.

List of What is Open and Closed On Christmas Eve

Federal offices: Normal hours on Thursday. Closed on Friday.

State offices: Normal hours on Thursday. Closed on Friday.

Public schools: Closed.

Post offices: Most offices will close at noon on Thursday; mail delivery is not affected. Offices are closed on Friday.

Stock markets: Open until 1 p.m. Thursday. Closed on Friday.

Banks: Normal hours on Thursday. Most are closed on Friday. Check with your bank for schedule.

Malls: Most will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day.

What’s open: Walgreens, hospitals, movie theaters, some restaurants.
