“Blue Moon”, a large blue diamond was sold for a record US$48.5 million at a Geneva auction.
The 12.03-carat was purchased by a Hongkong-based Chinese client and was renamed “The Blue Moon of Josephine,” after the buyer’s 7-year-old daughter.
