The Walking Dead Season 7 Is Surely Coming On AMC
AMC has renewed “The Walking Dead” for season 7.
The show’s ratings have been down somewhat from the series-high numbers it achieved last season, but it’s still the top-rated show on all of TV (excluding the NFL). Through three episodes this season, the show has averaged a 6.8 same-day rating in adults 18-49.
Aftershow “Talking Dead” will return in 2016-17 as well.
“We are so proud to share these shows with fans who have been so passionate, communicative and engaged,’ AMC president Charlie Collier says in a statement. “We are grateful for and continually imporessed by the talent, effort on continuous display [‘Walking Dead’ EPs] Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple and [‘Talking Dead’ host] Chris Hardwick and the many people with whom we partner to make these unique shows possible. The result: More ‘Walking’ and ‘Talking.’ Hooray.”
“The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead” join these shows that have been renewed for 2016 and beyond.
