Rapist India Uber Driver Convicted Of Rape
The verdict is in — India Uber driver has been convicted of raping a female passenger in his taxi in the Indian capital last year.
A court official said Tuesday that Shiv Kumar Yadav also was convicted of criminal intimidation, kidnapping, and endangering the woman’s life.
The victim was a 26-year old woman who had hired the cab for a ride home.
Yadav’s sentencing is expected on Friday.
