Who is Turd Ferguson – The SNL Name Gets Viral After “Jeopardy” Episode

Really, who is Turd Ferguson? The name has become the talk of the town after Talia Lavin, a Jeopardy contestant, wrote Turd Ferguson during final jeopardy Wednesday. She wrote “What is the love ballad of turd ferguson p.s. hi mom?”

Lavin even managed to get the TV host Alex Trebek to say “Turd Ferguson”. The name she made him say is a reference from a “Saturday Night Live” skit.

Turd Ferguson is what Norm MacDonald (as Burt Reynolds on SNL’s “Celebrity Jeopardy” skit) asked Will Ferrell (as Trebek) to call him because “it’s a funny name.”
