Giant Vortex Appears on Lake Texoma in Texas (VIDEO)

A giant vortex about 6 to 8 feet in diameter was seen in lake Texoma after Texas officials said they opened up the Denison Dam to drain the lake, which was in flood condition.

Boaters are being advised to steer clear of a large intake vortex.

The vortex is located on the Red River at river mile 725.9, five miles northwest of Denison in Grayson County, Texas.
