Season 7 opened with a qualifying round in Venice Beach, California, and featured obstacles such as the Mini Silk Slider, Spin Cycle and Hourglass Drop. Contestants included “Ninja” veterans Kevin Bull and David Campbell; former Baltimore Raven Brendon Ayanbadejo; and Seattle Seahawk Jon Ryan.
