Eloi Vasquez Is The Missing UC Berkeley Student: Information Needed
The family of 19 year-old, Eloi Vasquez and the Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Area detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
Eloi was last seen on March 28, 2015 around 1:30 a.m., in the 600 block of West 28th Street attending a party with friends. Eloi advised his friends that he wanted to take a walk. Eloi left the party and did not return. Concerned friends tried to make contact with him the following morning but had no success.
His family is concerned that he has not been located. Eloi did not have money or an identification card with him.
Eloi Vasquez, is described as a Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes, stands 6 feet tall, and weighs around 175 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, grey pants and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on Eloi Vasquez whereabouts is asked to contact Southwest Area Watch Commander at (213) 485-2582. Update 2 via ABC7:
Eloi Vasquez was killed in a car accident Saturday morning near the University of Southern California.
At about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Vasquez allegedly ran across lanes of traffic on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Vermont Avenue. A car was driving about 60 mph and struck Vasquez. The driver remained at the scene and told authorities there was no way to avoid him.
Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Vasquez’s injuries were so gruesome that family members say officers thought he was an older man, until identifying him as the missing freshman soccer player on Monday.
