Typhoon Betty Path and Track 2015: Philippines Cyclone May Hit Islands
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that typhoon Betty (Tropical Storm Bavi) could enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday morning.
At 4:00 PM Friday, the Tropical Storm “BAVI” was estimated based on all available data at 3,760 Km East of Northern Mindanao (9.0?N, 160.0?E), with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 30 Kph.

Tropical Storm “BETTY” has weakened into a Low Pressure Area!
At 10:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 820 km east of Casiguran, Aurora (16.0?N, 129.8?E).
This weather system is expected to bring light to moderate rains over Bicol region and Quezon province beginning tomorrow afternoon and over the rest of southern Luzon, central Luzon and NCR on Saturday until Sunday.
The next update will be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast to be issued at 5:00 PM today while the next advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM tomorrow.
