Did Filipino Movie Director Ejay Yan Criticize Pope Francis?
There is a Facebook message that is getting viral right now about a certain Filipino movie director Ejay Yan who allegedly criticized Pope Francis and his statement on his visit to the Philippines.
Using the Facebook profile name Ejay BigBear, the film director was feeling annoyed about the Pope’s earlier statement to “focus on Jesus, not me.” According to the viral post, Yan lamented that the Pope’s visit has inconvenienced everyone due to road closures and heavy traffic. Also, he said that the payroll schedules have been delayed because of the 5-day declared holidays.
The Facebook post allegedly written by Ejay BigBear (see screen capture below) also suggested that the Pope should have just celebrated mass through Skype so as not to ‘disturb’ everyone.

What do you think? Did Ejay Yan write the message? Was his account hacked?
Update: Someone commented below that the account may have been created just to attract attention.
I saw the account right before it was taken down. Based on what I saw, neither the account was hacked nor it was intentionally posted by “Ejay Yan” or “Ejay Bigbear”. It shows that the account does not have any friends and it was created an hour before the post was made. Obviously, it was created temporarily to draw attention to the public.
Thank you for your thoughts, Director Ejay Yan. But if you have nothing good to say about the Pope, I think it’s better to just keep it to yourself. Pope Francis is a good man.
It is not Pope Francis’ fault if the government, the church, and the media gave him special treatments. He did not asked for all of this, it was simply given to him.
He is not the focus of this event, because people see him as an instrument of the Lord. He brought happiness to millions of people. He is respected by millions of people, and not only by Catholics. People respects his missions, & his intentions.
If attention is what you’re looking for, then you clearly have it.
