Couple Locked In Closet For Two Days (PHOTO)
It sounded weird that a Florida couple locked in closet for days just to discover later that the closet was actually unlocked.
John Arwood, 31, and Amber Campbell, 25, said to the police who rescued them they were chased into a janitor’s closet at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Florida, by unidentified assailants on Sunday, December 28th, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department’s report.
The pair hiding in the Marine and Environmental Science Center closet waited two days in the closet before calling 911.
The police who found them said that the closet was unlocked the whole time.
Arwood and Campbell were charged with trespassing. Campbell was also charged with violating her probation. Arwoood’s criminal record includes armed burglary and theft of firearms.
