The Monroeville Mall brawl on Friday evening has forced it to close early.
Monroeville Police Chief K. Douglas Cole said that large groups of teens started to gather around 5 p.m., then increasing in number to as many as 1,000, according to mall security officers.
Employees said stores closed early after fights were reported around 8 p.m.
At least two people were brought to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
