The National Weather Service has confirmed that a small EF0 tornado touched down in South Los Angeles on Friday, December 12, 2014.
The incident happened in the 5800 block of Estrella Avenue some time before noon, as a storm pummeled the area.
An EF0 tornado has a wind speeds up to 85 mph.
No one was injured.
