Victoria Pierro Saves Family As Fire Engulfs House (VIDEO)
Six-year-old, Victoria Pierro, woke her parents up and alerted them of a fire that was engulfing their house early Tuesday morning in Swampscott, MA.
According to Swampscott Fire Chief Kevin Breen who told WBZ-TV, that there were just minutes for the family to escape the burning two-story house. “Probably with just no more than a minute to spare they got out,” said Breen.
The mother, Lori Pierro, said, “Oh seconds. It was near her bedroom, so she would have been, I don’t even want to think about it. I ran upstairs, grabbed by two sons and my husband and we ran out of the house screaming ‘Fire, fire, fire!”
“We’re all safe. That’s the most important thing. Things can be replaced but your family can’t. And we are all safe,” Pierro said.
