Ryan Berk: Sean Yetman as Fake Army Ranger Confronted by Veteran Inside Mall (VIDEO)
Fake Army Ranger Sean Yetman was in a mall and was confronted by veteran Ryan Berk. In the video taken in a Pennsylvania mall on Black Friday, it showed how Yetman (wearing an Army uniform) can’t answer simple military questions asked by Berk.
“Where is your combat patch at?” Berk asked Yetman.
“I gave it to a little kid,” Yetman answered.
“Why is your flag so low on your shoulder?” Berk asked. “It should be up here,” he said, pointing.
“You got me on that one, bud.”
There is no evidence Yetman ever served in the military, according to Army Human Resources Command.
In USA Today, Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., wrote in a letter to Zane David Memeger, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, suggesting to look into the matter of whether Yetman should face federal charges.
The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 makes it a federal crime to receive any tangible benefits for falsely representing oneself as a recipient of honors or decorations from the military.
