The Brandon Marshall fight with a fan on Twitter started when a certain Lions fan, who goes by the Twitter handle @AnthonyGKalla, told Chicago Bears’ Marshall of his comments last year when he said the Lions were the Bears’ “little brother.”
This year the Lions is 7-2 and in first place in the NFC North while the Bears are 3-6 and in last place.
Marshall tweeted, “I give you 5k to get in a ring with me.”
Then he added:
“That’s it? Cmon brandy make it 25 and we can do it in Detroit,” @AnthonyGKalla tweeted.
“25 it is. Ha! You thought i woudn’t say yes,” Marshall tweeted.
Marshall soon deleted all his tweets saying he was just joking the entire time!
Duh!
