A 19-year-old woman entered a boutique in Mandaue City in Cebu, Philippines on Tuesday and went out of the shop wearing the establishment’s dress, high-heeled shoes, jewelry and shoulder bag without paying. GMA Cebu’s Lou-Anne Mae Rondina reported Wednesday (note: the report has been updated on Thursday) that sales personnel were surprised over the theft as they observed the woman staying inside the shop for two hours and trying out the items there.

A sales attendant described the woman as physically attractive.

Authorities identified the shoplifter because she left behind the clothes she wore before entering the shop along with a boat ticket with her full name printed on it. Her identity was confirmed when they searched online and found her socia-media account on Facebook.

A CCTV footage also showed the woman exiting the establishment wearing the stolen dress.

The owner of the boutique, Jessa Romagos, contacted the woman and asked her to pay for the items and the woman promised to pay. However, Romagos said that she is still pursuing charges against the alleged shoplifter.

Update 1: Comments from the GMA News Report said that the alleged woman was born in 1993, which puts her at 21 years old. This is also the birth date posted on her Facebook page that she made public. Also, she has an account on gohachi.com (same profile photo as her FB) that said “Graduated from SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE.” Any confirmation from readers?

Update 2: An alleged birth certificate of the woman appeared online showing that she is 16 years old. The validity of the document cannot be confirmed.
