Andrey Moraru was born in Moldova and moved to the U.S. in 2005. Always fascinated by body movement, martial arts and circus performance, he joined a circus studio in his hometown at age 11, where he spent four years training in many circus disciplines. He switched to hand balancing and attended the Kiev State College of Circus and Variety Art at age 15. During his time there, he was taught by Vitold Kuvshinov, the teacher of Europe’s most famous hand balancer, Anatoliy Zalevskiy. After performances across Europe, Andrey was invited to join the popular show “Le Rêve” at the Wynn Las Vegas, then embarked on a 90-city North American tour. Andrey looks forward to sharing his art with America.
