NYC Easter Parade 2014 And The Screaming Preachers (VIDEO)

The 2014 New York Easter Parade took place on 5th Avenue today, Sunday, April 20th. While most people were enjoying the parade, there were also screaming preachers on the streets of downtown NYC.

“A street preacher screamed at onlookers as they paraded by, while participants upped the ante with outrageous outfits, ranging from the clever to the controversial. As the preacher warned of the evils of the parade, another attendee was quick to show her ‘Jesus in a box’ routine.”

The Easter Parade has a tradition of elaborate outfits, and draws thousands to experience the unique spectacle.
