Maryland Stevenson University Active Shooter Warning Posted

March 31, 2014, Monday. The Stevenson University in Maryland has posted on its website that there is currently and active shooter in campus.

“Active shooter reported on Owings Mills Campus. Shelter in place until further notice”, the Owings Mills campus north of Baltimore said.

Police were investigating a report on Monday of a gunman but no shots had been fired.

The Baltimore County Police said that officers had responded to a report of a person on the campus with a “long gun.”

“Police are searching but have been unable to find anything at this time,” the Baltimore County Police said on its Facebook page.
